Terms of service

By requesting a trial, creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

RealtyKeeping is software for managing properties, agency work, developments, accounting, payroll and group reporting. Which suites you can use depends on your agreement with us. We may improve or change features over time.

The workspace owner is responsible for everything done in the workspace, including the actions of the members, staff and advisers they invite. Keep sign-in details confidential, give members only the access they need, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

The length of a trial is set when we provision your workspace. A trial may expire or be ended. After it ends we keep the workspace data for a period so you can ask for an export or convert to a paid plan. After that period we may delete it.

Fees are as agreed in writing or set out in our quotation. Billing is handled directly with RealtyKeeping. Unpaid fees may lead to suspension under these terms.

You own the data you put into the service. You give us a licence to process it only as needed to provide and secure the service. You can ask us for an export of your data at any time by emailing hello@realtykeeping.com.

You are responsible for having the right to enter personal data about your tenants, buyers and staff. How we handle personal data is described in our privacy notice.

You agree not to:

• use the service for anything unlawful or fraudulent
• attempt to access other customers’ data or break the service’s security
• upload malicious code or overload the service on purpose
• resell or copy the service without our written agreement

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and to answer support requests promptly. We do not yet guarantee a specific uptime. We will give notice of planned maintenance where we can.

Reports, ledgers, payslips, tax and pension schedules produced by RealtyKeeping are tools to help you. You remain responsible for checking them, for your statutory filings and remittances, and for obtaining professional accounting, tax or legal advice.

Each party will keep the other’s non-public information confidential and use it only for the purposes of these terms, unless the law requires disclosure.

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms, fail to pay agreed fees, or put the service or other customers at risk. Where practical we will tell you first. On termination you may ask for an export of your data within a reasonable period, after which we may delete it.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profit. Our total liability for any claim arising from the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The courts of Lagos State have jurisdiction over any dispute.

We may update these terms. We will revise the date above and, for material changes, tell account holders by email. Continued use after a change means you accept it.
